Golden Beach Hotel

Located in the Old Stone Man National Tourism and Holiday Zone in Qingdao, the Golden Beach Hotel (Huangjin hai'an dajiudian) is surrounded by the sea and mountains. The hotel is close to the Pillar of the Old Stone Man (Shilaoren haishizhu), a rock that juts out of the sea to the east allegedly in the shape of the legendary Chinese figure. To the north is the "Qingdao International Beer City" and to the south is "Ocean Park". The hotel is the nearest three star hotel to the airport, about 25 minutes away, and is in close proximity to Laoshan, but is, however, a long way from the best sights and the city center.This three star hotel has 164 elegantly decorated and functional rooms and suites, including deluxe seaview rooms and one presidential suite. For business requirements, the hotel provides various meeting rooms, a business center and a secretarial service. For recreation, there are tennis courts, a sauna and a nightclub. The hotel also has its own natural bathing beach (Shilaoren yuchang).There are a number of fairly decent restaurants here too, serving Beijing, Cantonese, local, Korean-Japanese, and Western cuisine.
